Opening Act will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary loss or damages which may be incurred by you as a result of using our Resources, or as a result of any changes, data loss or corruption, cancellation, loss of access, or downtime to the full extent that applicable limitation of liability laws apply.


All content and materials available on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, website name, code, images and logos are the intellectual property of Opening Act, and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. Any inappropriate use, including but not limited to the reproduction, distribution, display or transmission of any content on this site is strictly prohibited, unless specifically authorized by Opening Act.

Governing Law

This website is controlled by Opening Act from our offices located in the state of Arizona, USA. It can be accessed by most countries around the world. As each country has laws that may differ from those of Arizona, by accessing our website, you agree that the statutes and laws of Arizona, without regard to the conflict of laws and the United Nations Convention on the International Sales of Goods, will apply to all matters relating to the use of this website and the purchase of any products or services through this site.

Furthermore, any action to enforce this Competition User Agreement shall be brought in the federal or state courts located in USA, Arizona. You hereby agree to personal jurisdiction by such courts, and waive any jurisdictional, venue, or inconvenient forum objections to such courts.


Crow Vote LLC dba The Opening Act, will be donating a minimum of twenty five percent (25%) of the proceeds earned from votes purchased during The Opening Act Competition to MusiCares Foundation, Inc. (“MusiCares”), a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.



No Refund Policy

Since the contest will be decided based upon votes the public casts, we do not issue refunds once a vote is fully cast through our system. As a voter, you are responsible for understanding this upon casting any votes for any contestant competing in the contest. To maintain the integrity of the contest, there will be no exceptions to this policy.

By making a purchase with Opening Act or on this website, you acknowledge you have read and agree to the Opening Act "No Refund" Policy

Personal Information

Opening Act strictly protects the security of your personal information and honors your choices for its intended use. We carefully protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Your personal information is never shared outside the company without your permission. Inside the company, data is stored in password-controlled servers with limited access. Your information will be stored and processed in the United States.

You also have a significant role in protecting your information. No one can see or edit your personal information without knowing your ID and password, so do not share these with others.


The information provided is the copyrighted property of Opening Act. Your use of this information is limited to you alone under the terms of this agreement. It may not be copied, retransmitted, sold or provided to others in any form or format except as provided for in this section of the Agreement.

The news, media, and subscribers may use brief portions of any material provided it is not distorted, Open Act is given credit for the material utilized, and Opening Act is shown as the Copyright holder.

Limitation of Liability

Opening Act will use reasonable efforts to assure the accuracy, responsiveness and availability of the service to its subscribers. Under no circumstance will we be liable for any direct or indirect damages with respect to the accuracy of the information, the availability of the service, the responsiveness of the service or your use of information provided to you by the service.

Complete Agreement

This is the complete agreement with respect to your use of the Opening Act web site. Nothing published or said elsewhere should be viewed as a modification of this agreement.
