The big break

Will Cultural Vultures be the Opening Act™ at Audacy's (formerly Radio.com) annual concert at the Hollywood Bowl? Last year's winner opened for Coldplay, Black Eyed Peas, Doja Cat, Kid Laroi, and Shawn Mendes. The 2022 lineup will be announced around August 1st!

In addition to performing at the sold out concert alongside industry superstars, our Opening Act will receive: their own private dressing room, a ton of exposure on the radio, and $10,000!

Q&A

What do you enjoy most about being a musician?

The ability to create something that didn’t exist before. I’d like to keep developing a sort of musical landscape that takes the listener or audience into another world. To transcend and experience something beautiful collectively in the moment.

Which musician would you like to collaborate with?

It’s a tough question but I’d say most likely Bjork. She pushes her creativity beyond the norm. People may not like her but she is still burned in their minds. That is I think what good art is, the ability to creatively push yourself out of a box

If you were the next Opening Act, what would you do with $10,000?

Id keep creating. I want the music to be able to pay for itself. I’m not interested in fancy things only creating what I consider to be beautiful. Long after I’m gone I want my music and my voice to inspire people to be their best even in despondency
